This performance at the Lynn Valley Library (North Vancouver District Public Library) is a pleasant fusion of world and regional music, designed to create a bridge between shared human memories and emotions. In this program, the audience will hear a curated selection of musical diversity—from the rich folk music of various regions of Iran to passionate and nostalgic Iranian pop pieces, as well as timeless and classic English-language works. The Afra Group aims to create a warm and memorable atmosphere for the audience through this cultural diversity.
Registration is required to attend. Please arrive on time. Due to the popularity of the program, your seat will only be held for 5 minutes after the start of the performance, after which it may be offered to someone on the waiting list.
The event includes 60 minutes of performance followed by 30 minutes of discussion about the pieces and a Q&A session.
