Richmond Public Library in partnership with the SWIS workers from Richmond School District would like to invite newcomers to join us for Newcomer Family Reading.
This literacy program helps newcomer parents and children of school age improve their literacy skills, adapt to a new culture, and prepare for the new school year. Together as a family participant will read, talk, and play. This program fosters language skills, vocabulary expansion, and comprehension.
This event is also offered from 10:30am – 12:00pm on Tuesday July 22nd.
