Library Champions Registration

If you’re interested in becoming a Library Champion, you must register for and attend an information session. See the schedule on right side of screen. Download the application form below and bring it with you to the information session. Do not drop off the application form at the library.

The Library Champions Project (LCP) is looking for newcomers who are:

  • A permanent resident, but not yet a Canadian citizen
  • 19 years of age or older
  • Enthusiastic about libraries
  • Interested in volunteering in the community to share information about library and settlement resources with other newcomers

Library Champion Registration

Over the last three years, the Library Champions Project has trained more than 1,380 new immigrants. With improved communication and presentation skills, these champions have shared library and settlement information with more than 81,000 other new immigrants!
