British Columbia is very large. At 944,735 square kilometres, it is larger than every country in Europe and every state in the US except Alaska!

BC is divided into seven economic regions. Within these seven regions there are 71 public library systems with more than 250 library branches. Remember, no matter where you live, you can visit any library in BC for free!
