BC libraries provide new immigrants a lot of the information they need to get settled. Libraries also provide a way to connect with community, to meet people and to learn about life in BC. Libraries are often the first place new immigrants go with their families; not only to read and to get information, but also to join programs and attend workshops and events.
This section includes information on the hours and locations of libraries across BC. It also provides information about library programs, events and news. For those who speak languages other than English, you can go to “Collections in Different Languages” to learn where books and materials in 26 different languages can be found.
Select a library from the dropdown list below to find its address, hours of operation, and direct links to that library and its events.
