The library was expanded in 1999 and now offers over 12,000 square feet of collections and services.

Located at the corner of 46th Avenue and 51st Street in the heart of Ladner village, next to Memorial Park and Delta Secondary School. Accessible by public transit (see Translink).
Parking:
Library parking lot is located west of the building. Street parking is available in area.
Interesting Tips:
- Ladner Pioneer Library runs The Next Chapter Book Club, a community-based literacy program for people with developmental disabilities. Anyone can join, regardless of reading ability.
- Ladner Pioneer Library hosts Parent-Child Mother Goose programs, which are free, community-based programs supporting young children and families.
- Book one-on-one help with a resource expert! Learn how to download digital content (eBooks, audiobooks and magazines) and access databases via the FVRL’s website. By appointment.
- The Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL) has a “floating collection” that allows customers to access materials in any of the 25 libraries and reserve items at no cost.
- Originally built in 1962, Ladner Pioneer Library has had two major expansions. The first expansion occurred in 1977 after a fire destroyed most of the library. The cost of 1999 expansion was largely covered by a generous one million dollar donation by a Ladner resident.
