- Pitt Meadows Public Library moved from sharing space in an old house with Pete the Barber in 1971 to a new library adjacent to city hall, and recently to a beautiful facility at the busy corner of Harris Road and Ford Road.
- Many of the library’s summer programs are held outside in nearby Spirit Square, a hub for community activities and wonderful showcase for the wide variety of library programs.
- The Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL) has a “floating collection” that allows customers to access materials in any of the 25 libraries and reserve items at no cost.
