The 10,600 square foot library opened in 2013.

Features:

Meeting room, multi-purpose room, self check-in machines, self check-out machines, Internet and word processing computers, Wi-Fi, black and white printer, colour copier, accessible, and casual seating around a fireplace.

Location:

Located on the south side of Chilliwack next to Watson Glen Park and Twin Rinks Ice Arena. Accessible by public transit (see BC Transit: Chilliwack Transit System).

Parking:

Free, large parking lot.

Interesting Tips:

1. Adult Learners Collection: Resources for tutors and adults learning English, including book/cd sets, workbooks, easy readers for adults, and more.
2. Children’s and Young Adult materials borrowed on Children’s Library Cards are “fines-free”.
3. Library Live and On Tour is an innovative, stereotype-shattering literacy initiative developed by Fraser Valley Regional Library that “delivers the library” to people who do not know about libraries or have some obstacle to visiting them.
4. The Playground at FVRL offers customers of all ages free access to fun and engaging STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) related learning experiences. The Playground features lending collections and in-library experiences.
