The West Point Grey Branch of Vancouver Public Library will close on Tuesday, May 30 as staff prepare to move into its new location at 4566 West 10th Avenue.
The new location, located approximately one block west of its current address, will offer library users more spaces to relax, study and enjoy the collection, improved accessibility and programming space for children, teens and adults.
Loan periods for books and other library materials and pickup times for items on hold at the West Point Grey Branch have been extended to accommodate the move.
Library items that have been borrowed from the West Point Grey Branch and are due to be returned after the closure may be returned at any VPL location.
From June 14 – 26, limited library service, including hold pick-ups, library material returns, Summer Reading Club registration and takeout book bags for kids will be available at our new location at 4566 West 10th Avenue: Tuesday to Saturday (9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Sunday (1 – 5 p.m.).
