Interesting Tips:
- Ladner Pioneer Library hosts Parent-Child Mother Goose programs, which are free, community-based programs supporting young children and families.
- Book one-on-one help with a resource expert! Learn how to download digital content (eBooks, audiobooks and magazines) and access databases via the FVRLโs website. By appointment.
- Originally built in 1962, Ladner Pioneer Library has had two major expansions. The first expansion occurred in 1977 after a fire destroyed most of the library. The cost of 1999 expansion was largely covered by a generous one million dollar donation by a Ladner resident.
- Library Live and On Tour is an innovative, stereotype-shattering literacy initiative developed by Fraser Valley Regional Library that โdelivers the libraryโ to people who do not know about libraries or have some obstacle to visiting them.
- Theย Playground at FVRLย offers customers of all ages free access to fun and engaging STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) related learning experiences. The Playground features lending collections and in-library experiences.
