AMSSA BC and BC Non-Profit Housing Association launch strategic initiative to address housing challenges for resettled refugees and refugee claimants in BC. The strategy recommends the following actions:1. Design and Build Housing Connection Centres: Create dedicated support centres that streamline access to housing and wraparound supports for refugees and refugee claimants immediately upon their arrival in the province.2. Expand Rental Subsidy Programs: Broaden existing rental subsidy programs to ensure they include refugee claimants, providing essential financial assistance to help them secure stable housing.3. An endeavor to explore the echoes of protest in the poetry of poets, particularly over the past century. We will discuss the prevailing socio-political conditions in Iran and the poets’ approaches to these circumstances.
