Located in City of North Vancouver civic complex, close to Lonsdale commercial area, close to transportation route (Lonsdale Avenue), close to Lions Gate Hospital. The library is accessible by public transit (see Translink).

- The library building won a 2009 BC Lieutenant Governor Award and a 2009 BCLA Library Merit Award for it’s sustainable architecture.
- ’The Terrace’ outdoor reading room offers views of the Lions Gate Bridge.
- The library’s recording station is a sound-baffled 10′ x 14′ room, equipped with professional video and audio production equipment.
- The Collaboratory is a digital learning space on the third floor of the library that offers classes, workshops, and drop-in sessions on current and emerging technology to help you build your digital skills and inspire your creativity!
