Libraries in BC have collections of materials in many different languages. You can find books, music, newspapers, magazines, and on-line resources in more than 66 different languages! Each library has different materials in different languages. There are materials for children, young people, and adults. Some libraries have large collections and some are smaller.
Search here to find collections in different languages held by libraries in the Mainland / Southwest region of BC. You can search “All Cities” to see where collections in different languages can be found or you can search by community.
Once you have found the language collections you are interested in, you can visit the library or use your library card to have materials delivered to your home library via interlibrary loan. Many libraries have materials in languages other than the most common languages listed here. To find out, ask staff at the library in your community.
