The Islamic Art Experience: Artist Reception celebrates the visual beauty of Islamic art from around the globe, fostering cross-cultural exchange among all faiths and cultures, and provides an opportunity for artists from the local Muslim community in BC and Canada to engage in dialogue with library customers about the paintings that have been hanging in the library for the past month and a half.
To honor and celebrate these artists, RPL is delighted to invite our customers to this Artists’ Reception, where you can meet and mingle with the artists and learn more about their artistic journey, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. We hope to see you there!
