A petting zoo is coming to the Maple Ridge Public Library soon, but this one won’t have animals.
On Tuesday, Sept. 19, the library will be hosting its playground petting zoo event, which community librarian supervisor Liza Morris said is meant to showcase the many benefits of the Playground lending collection offered through all Fraser Valley Regional Library locations.
“The Playground at FVRL offers customers of all ages free access to fun and engaging STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) related learning experiences, including lending collections and in-library experiences,” explained Morris.
